A Bit About Myself

I am a Yoga Alliance registered instructor,

completing my first 200 hour training in 2015 and my 500 hour yoga teacher training in 2018.

Since then, I have also completed additional training in Prenatal, Postnatal, Restorative, Anatomy, Sequencing, Philosophy, Energy Bodies, Myofascial Release,

PTSD/Trauma Informed Yoga, Assisting and Yoga Nidra.

I am also certified in Reiki, level 2.

When I first started practicing yoga, as with most people, I began with the physical shapes

and spending some time with my breath.  It didn't take long for me to begin to learn about

the other 7 limbs of yoga, one by one.  The more I learnt, the more I wanted to know; as a

book lover, I naturally read anything I could find on the subject of yoga.  However, simply knowing the theory, the philosophy, wasn't enough: yoga is called a practice because

you must simply live it to experience it.

If you can breathe, you can yoga.

A Life of Balance

About My Practice

I enjoy practicing strong sweaty yoga, slow deep yoga, and
even slower supportive yoga: I simply love all yoga.  For me, yoga is
so much more that a class; it is a way of life, a foundation of
guiding principles, and one of the best ways to take care of your entire self.
My practice is found through my entire life not just when I step onto my mat.
